Today’s blog entry is a bit more of a serious subject that may have an effect on our patients, their families, or their friends or family members. A local Pediatrician, Dr Van Koinis, who practiced in Evergreen Park, died of an apparent suicide last September. As the death investigation has progressed, there are now concerns that patients were not being vaccinated as they had thought. Because of this, it is possible that some children, as well as some adults, may not have the immunity to various diseases that they thought they had.
