Halloween is always one of our favorite holidays. Both kids and adults get to pick out a costume and become something or someone else for a day. I always have so much fun coming up with a costume idea, and then we love making our costumes ourselves. But the real fun starts when you go out and show off your work. This year we had the added benefit of going to a Halloween fundraiser for the Chris Szmajlo Music Scholarship. We were able to celebrate Halloween and at the same time help raise money for a scholarship to help a local student attend college to study the arts or music. Because it was a music themed scholarship, we decided to go as rock stars. We pulled out some old costumes we made about ten years ago, updated them a bit, and we had a great time. Here is a little peek inside our transformation into rock stars....and guess who won best costume!
